Quality control – programming:
All surveys are checked and rigorously tested before a test link is sent to our client. Any requested changes are, in their turn, checked and tested. Once final sign-off has been given, the project is then "soft-launched". This means that a small number of respondents are requested to take the survey.
The resulting data is then examined for accuracy before the project is fully launched.
Server monitoring and disaster recovery:
mbdata's main server is mirrored on a fully functioning backup server located in a different state. It can take over automatically if the main server fails due to power outage or natural disaster. The data is backed up constantly – there is a maximum 60 seconds difference between the main server and the backup server at any one time.
CPU and RAM are constantly monitored. Emails and SMS messages are sent to technicians as load reaches preset levels, and these technicians are on hand 24/7 to increase resources as and when required.
